Rogers Having Widespread Network Issues

Oh, Rogers. What is the problem now? It’s like having an employee that, no matter how often you tell them how things should be done, they always seem to let you down.

Rogers Wireless network seems to being having issues, right accross Canada today, with very spotty service, if any at all. I lost my 3G this afternoon, then had no service at all, for about a half an hour.

Looks like things are slowly coming back on, for Rogers, but here’s a Twitter search I did for #Rogers #fail, around 6:00pmPST.

Seriuosly considering Bell, if this keeps up.

Ya, I had a bit of trouble yesterday, when I called them at 5pm , they said that they just heard about it a few minutes before….ha ha

I got them to add me to an open ticket so that perhaps I will get a credit…we will see.

I ended up turning off 3G for the night and had to surf on edge…..what a pain that was.

This morning, my wife’s 3G phone couldn’t find Rogers until I reset the Network settings…all is good today.

In all honesty, this is the first outage I’ve experience with them, so I am not going to be too hard on them yet.
